Please join us for a joint Next Step/CBTF Virtual Campference just for you!
This three-day virtual event will provide workshops to gain confidence in your sense of self, learn positive self-talk, and explore concrete skills to apply on a daily basis.
If you are interested in community engagement and are willing to step into your stretch-zone, we hope to provide you with tools to speak up for yourself, advocate for your own needs, and connect with other brain/spinal tumor survivors who get it.
Are you a high school #teen with #sicklecelldisease? Are you tired of relying on your doctors and parents for support? We've got the program for you! #STRIVE will connect you with peers who know what it's like to have SSD at that age. You'll also get support from college mentors
Have you had enough of relying on your parents and doctors for important information that actually helps? Want advice about self-care tips, school, or your social life from people who really "get it"?
Next Step's STRIVE program is for you as Urjita explains! At STRIVE you can talk to peers and college-aged mentors who know what it's like to go through high school while managing their sickle cell. There is still time to sign up for the Spring semester! Go to the link in our bio to learn more and sign up. It's free!
