On Monday, June 20th, 80 golfers played in the 2022 Next Step Spring Golf Tournament at Myopia Hunt Club in South Hamilton, MA. With the 2022 U.S. Open concluding the day before right here in Massachusetts, our guests were excited to test their skills on this historic course that has hosted four U.S. Open Championships and ranked among the top 100 in the country! Not only was it a gorgeous day for golf but it was a special day for Next Step that will have a lasting impact on our organization and our ability to reach even more teens and young adults living with cancer, HIV and rare genetic disorders.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made the day an incredible success. These include our amazing tournament host, Eric Stepanian, and the rest of our golf committee Reyn Parsons, Gene Crowley, and Matt and Polly Heeney, and the Paoletta Family. Chloe Paoletta was inspiring as she told her story as a young cancer survivor, and her amazing parents Deb and Len, who described why Next Step community, music and mentorship programs are so critical to a young person living with serious illness to successfully transition into adulthood.
Congratulations to Jordan Fine for winning a raffle for two round-trip business class air tickets with Turkish Airlines. We cannot wait hear where you decide to go out of their 300+ destinations around the world!
We are so grateful to Mike Bemis, Stephen Kohr, and the entire staff at the Myopia Hunt Club for their support and professionalism to make sure we had a successful event. And a special thank you to our talented photographer, Omar Rawlings, for capturing the day.
Thank you to our sponsors for your generous support of Next Step! We are proud to partner with you in this important work.
