Last night, Kepler and Emily teamed up with Courtney, Nicole, and Alanna from @hearusyarr
The discussions were focused on the concept of advocacy. We learned about the ADA (American with Disability Act) and different resources that exist to help navigate it.
We also heard firsthand experiences from young people with disabilities advocated for themselves through school, as well as in a work environment.
