Meet our good friend and longtime supporter, Dan. Dan has a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering, loves Marvel movies, and he enjoys a delicious porter or stout…even in the summertime. Dan is also a Team Next Step runner!
Dan volunteered to run the Falmouth Road Race for the third straight year in support of Next Step! He is one of 26 amazing charity runners who will lace up their sneakers on Sunday, August 18th to conquer the beautiful 7-mile race on Cape Cod! The Falmouth Road Race is not only one of our favorite events of the year, it is also one of our biggest fundraisers. The money raised by Team Next Step will go a long way in helping us welcome more young people into our safe community where they can engage in life-changing community, music and mentorship programs with peers that “get it”.
We recently spoke with Dan about why he is running the 2019 Falmouth Road Race in support of Next Step. Here is what Dan had to say:
