Giving Tuesday is one week from today on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. Founded in 2012, Giving Tuesday is an international day to inspire philanthropy and generosity. A day to raise funds and awareness for the nonprofit organizations in your community. As a small nonprofit organization, we rely on our community to help us continue offering our free programs for seriously ill teens and young adults.
Our goal this Giving Tuesday is to match a $15,000 gift from a generous donor for a total of $30,000. The money raised will help triple the number of one-on-one sessions between young person and a Next Step music therapist in our music program in the coming year. Working with a Next Step music therapist, teens and young adults can find their “I Believe in Me” moment where they realize their diagnosis doesn’t define them, that their future is whatever they want it to be.
