Our free, innovative programming allows this underserved population to imagine and explore a future they’ve never before considered.
Now is when our participants start looking forward to our summer “Campferences”. That’s right: Campference. This multiday, residential experience – part camp, part conference – is a critical component of our participants’ development and serves as one of Next Step’s most life-changing programs. At campference, our youth are encouraged to stretch themselves, learn and practice new skills, and engage in thoughtful discussions about their lives, their health and their futures-alongside a group of peers who “get it” because they have been there too.”
