Bulgaria’s Plovdiv Roman Theatre is one of the world’s best-preserved ancient theaters. It was constructed during the first century AD to host theatrical plays and musical shows. Interestingly, the theater was not discovered until the 1970s after a major landslide hit the country in southeastern Europe.
