On November 4th-6th, we hosted our annual Fall Campference at our office in Cambridge, MA – it was our first in-person Campference in over two years!
11 young people living with sickle cell disease joined us for a weekend full of community building, important conversations, educational workshops focused on learning life skills that work, and fun expressive art activities to practice using their voice. They walked away knowing that they have a safe community they can trust at Next Step. Thank you to all of the participants for sharing their stories, and giving it their all, to make it a really impactful weekend.
