THEY DID IT! Maria Hamel and Peg Carlson conquered the 26.2 mile Boston Marathon in support of Next Step and our young participants living with cancer, HIV and rare genetic disorders! Maria and Peg looked strong and happy at Mile 13 in Wellesley and at Mile 23 in Brookline. We are so grateful for their hard work, commitment and enormous hearts! Not only did they finish the 123rd Boston Marathon, together they have raised over $25,000 to help fund our FREE year-round community, music and mentorship programs for seriously ill young people during their transition to adulthood!
